Design

During the design process, we are looking at the whole building and site in terms of energy use, water use, indoor air quality, site impact, and materials.  The goal is to create a building that is healthy, comfortable, durable, energy efficient, and environmentally responsible.

There is a wealth of options available to achieve these goals, from simple to complicated and from no-cost to high cost.  The goal is to strike a balance with your budget and needs.  By having the designer and contractor working together, we are able to look at constructability and cost issues from the very start, and insure there are no hidden costs.  Especially when dealing with more complicated upgrades like building insulation, mechanical systems, and structural improvements, having the designer and contractor work hand in hand ensures the best quality product.
